I had my first job interview today since the day I started seeking job (27/7) Somehow I think I am lucky. Coz it's a post I want to try~actually it's a teaching assistant of liberal studies I am lucky becoz the gov't recently subsidizes few more posts. That means chances come! More important, the first call was from Queen's College (what a suprise) Starting my career in a brand school would be great! Personally, I think it may be a challenge too, coz students there are famous for their academic achievement. Back to my interview, I was 45 mins earlier than the scheduled time (maybe I was a bit tense) So I just hanged around and wait. When I first got in, it's somehow like my Alma mater (seriously) The interview was held in a hall and with two guys !?!? I actually prepared quite well (at least, I did some research on sch history, what LS is about, why I am capable, what my asset is, what question to askand so on~seriously I am good at doing preparation and asking question in this circumstance) What most worry me is I seldom have chance to have interview, but to certain extent I think I did say right thing at the right time. What I think was good too is I expressed naturally (maybe they don't think so) and also received appreciation from the guys (or they are too generous to the inexperience)!! Anyway, I did try my best in the interview. Thanks God for giving me such good experience and support from those who know I had interview! Remark: it's quite happy to meet sb I know in QC~thanks for your presence which release my tension! |
